I’m a editor and staff writer at ZEITmagazin the supplement of Germany’s largest weekly newspaper DIE ZEIT. Beside that I teach at journalism schools and give workshops in autobiographical writing, for example for the Masterclass of DIE ZEIT. As a writer I’m specialized in feature stories and essays, for which I won many awards, among them the Henri-Nannen-Preis, the Journalist-of-the-year-Award for economic writing and the EMMA-Journalist Award. Besides I help other people write books many of which became bestsellers (Teenie Leaks; Kliniken und Nebenwirkungen; Fucking Berlin). My latest own book, „Hundert“, illustrated by Valerio Vidali is a bestseller in Germany and will be published in ten other countries soon.
